Sara is a Director at Black Norman Solicitors and serves as Practice and Risk Manager. With 24 years’ experience in the legal industry – 21 of them at Black Norman Solicitors – she brings deep institutional knowledge alongside a forward-thinking approach to leadership and compliance.
Originally part of the Litigation Department, Sara has transitioned through the firm into senior operational and strategic roles, joining the Board of Directors in 2024.
Sara joined Black Norman Solicitors in November 2005 as a member of the Litigation Department. Over the years, she evolved her role within the firm, becoming HR and Risk Manager before stepping into her current position as Director – Practice and Risk Manager.
Her career reflects both loyalty and progression, shaped by a strong understanding of the firm’s culture, clients and community roots. Sara is particularly proud of her vision for supporting women in the legal profession and nurturing growth within the workplace.
She values Black Norman Solicitor’s long-established presence within the local community and is committed to ensuring the firm continues to grow and evolve while maintaining its strong foundations.
Sara works closely with the Directors, as well as Jonathan Beck and Jemma Ball, contributing to strategic decision-making, risk oversight and the continued development of the firm.
Sara values the positive environment and strong sense of teamwork within the firm. Having witnessed its growth over two decades, she takes pride in seeing the business evolve while maintaining its supportive and collaborative culture.
Away from work, Sara enjoys travelling with her husband and children, dining out and spending time with friends.
